We provide the tools and knowledge you need to deliver value through mergers and acquisitions and avoid the most common mistakes. All our Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) training courses are designed specifically to provide the technical and commercial skills you will need to be an effective M&A practitioner inside a multinational corporation.  You will be introduced to best practice in each of the core areas of mergers and acquisitions activity.

Whether a commercial manager tasked to grow the business by acquisition, or a functional expert involved in valuation, due diligence or post-merger integration, our Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) training courses will add a professional edge to your mergers and acquisitions activity.

Our Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) Training Courses

We run a suite of short, intense Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) training courses rich with case studies and real-world examples. All our courses are taught by tutors with hands-on M&A experience gained as part of corporate management teams.

Brief details on each of the courses are set out below:

A three-day Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) training course teaching the practical commercial and technical skills you will need to run an effective mergers and acquisitions programme in a corporate environment.

The course covers the full M&A process from deal origination and business valuation through to due diligence and post-merger integration.

Designed as an integrated training in all aspects of M&A you will learn approaches and tools that can be taken back to your company and used to deliver successful transactions.

Typical participants are general managers, directors and senior managers that have been tasked with growing their divisions by acquisition, and new entrants into corporate M&A departments.

A two-day expert level training course that teaches you how to prepare robust business valuations in a commercial context.

The course moves beyond a straightforward calculation driven approach to consider the risks and synergies involved in buying a company, and how these impact on value. You will also explore the dynamics of competitive situations.

Typical participants are finance executives expected to support deal teams with valuation advice, but also strategy and commercial directors and managers wanting to gain a deeper understanding of business valuation.

Participants are expected to have an initial familiarity with the main methods used to value a company.  This requirement can be supported through a pre-course module.

A practical two-day mergers and acquisitions due diligence training course.  You will learn how to set up and run an effective multidisciplinary due diligence process, as well as exploring the issues that arise in each of the main due diligence streams.

The course moves beyond M&A due diligence as an information gathering process to explore how findings are used to negotiate protective deal structures and prepare for post-merger integration.

Participants can be from any functional background and will typically be expecting to become increasingly involved in M&A due diligence investigations.

A two-day post-merger integration training course that will teach you how to run a controlled integration programme that delivers or exceeds the expected synergies.

You will learn practical methodologies that can quickly be implemented in your company, and leave the course with templates and checklists that will provide an immediate professional edge to post-merger integration activity.

The course provides a solid grounding in the approaches and techniques used by some of the world’s best companies to deliver value from their acquisitions.

Participants can be from any general management or functional background.  The course is also frequently attended by change management professionals transitioning to post-merger integration roles.

All our Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) training courses can be run as in-house programmes. This can generate a considerable saving when multiple delegates are involved.

For large groups additional material can be prepared based on your specific industry, or a case study from your own experience. This may incur an additional fixed fee if extensive new material has to be developed.
