Become an MTI trainer
Become an MTI trainer: Becoming a Tutor for The Merger Training Institute
Become an MTI trainer: We are always open to approaches from potential tutors with a desire to pass on their mergers and acquisitions expertise. If this sounds like you, this page explains the type of background and experience we are looking for, the assistance we can offer to develop and market your course, and some areas of expertise that would be of interest to our students.
What Background and Qualification Will You Need?
Business Experience
Our students expect deep general management or functional expertise gained at a senior level in a large corporate enterprise. It is unlikely you will have gained this experience with less than 10 years post-graduation business experience
Academic Qualifications
An MTI Trainer will typically have a good first degree, a relevant professional qualification or MBA, and/or exceptional business experience.
Personal Qualities
You will be passionate about your specialist subject and able to generate a similar level of enthusiasm in your students. You must be able to handle the cut and thrust that comes with teaching senior managers who themselves have extensive business experience and advanced educational qualifications.
Commitment
Our tutors are typically committed freelance business tutors and consultants looking to broaden their client base, or executives who have reached the portfolio stage of their career and are looking to maintain interest and generate income by passing on expertise to the next generation.
You should expect to commit up to thirty days per year to teaching activities.
Location
We are an international business offering public courses in London, Dubai and Singapore but also running in-house courses for clients at their own premises across the globe. A willingness to travel internationally is an advantage.
